The ‘Yash Medical Foundation’ is a community based social welfare organisation sincerely striving to bring poor, needy, deserving, destitute, underprivileged and minority groups of the society in the developmental mainstreams. Since its inception, the organisation has conceptualized, and still does, various need based projects and implemented with participatory approaches for the development and prosperity of different target groups.

The qualified couple, Dr. Sandip Tambare and Dr. Pallavi Tambare, is engaged running ‘Yedeshwari Hospital’ at Yermala town in Osmanabad district of Maharashtra since last 15 Years and more. The hospital is significantly contributing to provide health services to the needy and deserving especially belonging to scheduled casts and tribes. While working with people in the area, couple noticed that the people approaching to avail medical treatment from the villages are mostly under influence of alcohol which is a major cause of their illnesses along with others.

YEDAI (IRCA) INTEGRATED REHABILITATION CENTER FOR ADDICTS

THE PROJECT HAS BEEN APPROVED BY SOCIAL JUSTICE & EMPOWERMENT MINISTRY, GOVT. OF INDIA

The Yedai IRCA (Yedai Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Addicts) is one of the major projects among others conducted under the organisation ‘Yash Medical Foundation’ since its inception. The center is located with natural surroundings on the Yermal-Barshi road at about 2 KM distance from the main town, Yermala.

YEDESHWARI HOSPITAL, 10 BEDDED HOSPITAL FOR S.C. COMMUNITIES

Beside general practice at ‘Yedeshwari Hospital’ the ‘10 Bedded Hospital for SC communities’ welfare project is implemented under the organisation especially for the benefit of the patients belonging to weaker sections of the society. Realizing the socio-economic constraints of the communities it is worth providing medical services on subsidized rates and even most of the time free of cost as the poor patients could not afford the expenses incurred against medical treatments for illnesses. Specifically about 10 beds have been reserved for 24 hours in the hospital premises only in the interest of the patients falling under this category. The needy and deserving are provided with following medical facilities and the services.

YEDAI SENIOR CITIZEN HOSPITAL, DAY CARE CENTER FOR OLDER PERSONS WITH DEMENTIA

Especially the aged facing care, love, affection, food, medical and shelter problems in the families and even persons without protection are supported at the Yedai Senior Citizen Hospital. The special wing for older person project has been created with required manpower, equipments and accessories. About 5700 older persons suffering from various health problems ware provided with medical and other services on visiting basis and about 300 older persons ware enrolled on residential basis ranging 3 to 5 months in the Hospital setting created separately.

Ayush Institute for Indian Medical Sciences

Yash Medical Foundation After Successful Service of the Nation in the field of treatment & rehabilitation of Addicts entered in the field of research through inauguration of Ayush Institute for Indian Medical Sciences on 2 1st Jun 2017 i.e. International Yoga day. This research institute mainly objects advanced treatmen t remedies from ancient Indian medical scie nces i.e. Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Sidha, Ho meopathy, Natural therapy and Allopathy als o. The aim of this institute his to deve lop effective and economical treatments for different chronic disease.

Increased intemperance of alcohol and drug substance abuse among society especially among the young generation has become severe epidemic of nation. The proportion engaged in the addiction and the population in the door is one of the challenges that is adversely affecting the overall development and prosperity of the nation. It needs to be concentrated as top priority so that the sound, full of skill, knowledge and intelligent generation is restored and promoted. One of the main reason among others being drug substance abuse as well as addict to an alcohol are slack government policies, frustration among youngsters, unavailability of employment, influence of western culture and so on. Addiction leads to poor health, hygiene, and un-efficient working capabilities among the population that can be considered enemy of the country. The addiction trends visualized are damaging images of the individuals as well as strengths and overall prosperities of the nation. The infection rate of the phenomenon is observed high both in rural and urban areas. And, hence, it is a demand and need of the time to introduce strategic interventions at various levels so that impediments in the developmental processes are minimized or brought to an end.\
