YEDAI SENIOR CITIZEN HOSPITAL, DAY CARE CENTER FOR OLDER PERSONS WITH DEMENTIA
Especially the aged facing care, love, affection, food, medical and shelter problems in the families and even persons without protection are supported at the Yedai Senior Citizen Hospital. The special wing for older person project has been created with required manpower, equipments and accessories.

About 5700 older persons suffering from various health problems ware provided with medical and other services on visiting basis and about 300 older persons ware enrolled on residential basis ranging 3 to 5 months in the Hospital setting created separately increasing the thought is given to bring more improvements in terms of services and facilities provided in the interest of older persons in need. The following are some of the facilities made available at the hospital level in the interest of aged suffering from Dementia.
- Treatment – The aged suffering specifically from joint pain, bone damages, body pains etc are provided with Ayurvedic Snehan (Massage), Swedan Treatments (Steam Bath) as well as various Physio Therapies beside regular treatments
- Shelter – The destitute and deserted older persons without protections are enrolled in the Hospital and provided with shelter facility for as long as he wishes to stay.
- Food – The quality food is also provided during stay of older persons in the hospital
- Counseling – As per requirements the counseling facility is provided to the family members, relatives or the concerned people to the older persons. This help to solve the disputes arrived in life of older persons.
- Entertainment – All the entertainment facilities as per interest of the older persons are made available during stay of the older persons in hospital setting established. The Opportunities and equipments are provided for playing music instruments, singing songs, performing tradition arts (Bhajan, Kirtan, Aradhi Songs), books for reading etc.
- Love and affection etc. – The team working in the hospital created setting behave very nicely with love, care and affection with the older persons enrolled.
