YEDESHWARI HOSPITAL, 10 BEDDED HOSPITAL FOR S.C. COMMUNITIES

Realizing the socio-economic constraints of the communities it is worth providing medical services on subsidized rates and even most of the time free of cost as the poor patients could not afford the expenses incurred against medical treatments for illnesses. Specifically about 10 beds have been reserved for 24 hours in the hospital premises only in the interest of the patients falling under this category. The needy and deserving are provided with following medical facilities and the services. At the year ending 2015-16 about 6347 patients belonging to scheduled casts from various villages in the district have been enjoyed the services provided in the hospital. Providing nutritional supplements, health education and improvements of general health and malnutrition status especially among women and children is another aspect concentrated under the project. The villages covered under the project since last more than two years are Andora, Partapur, Wanewadi and Yermala respectively. The general health aspects like diarrhea, jaundice, piles, cold, cough, flue etc. ware specifically concentrated during the year in about 7 villages around the hospital jurisdiction. The need based medical services ware made available in the villages by the experienced medical team of the hospital.
